Are you a Carer?Carers are adults and children who take care of adults or of disabled children. They are unpaid. The caring role is stressful, often 24/7, and can be isolating. Carers provide care to people who are ill, frail or living with a disability and who would not be able to live independently without them. Carers look after partners, spouses, family members, friends or neighbours. The cared-for person must live in the practice area, although the carers themselves may live inside or outside this area.
