Practice Nurses
We have 3 Practice Nurses, Audrey Farthing, Debbie Davis and
Shelley Wagstaff all are qualified Registered General Nurses
and appointments can be made with them for help and advice
with minor ailments and any of the following:
- Well Person Check
- Diet and Weight Clinic
- Asthma Clinic
- Holiday Vaccinations
- Contraceptive
Advice/Check
- Stitch Removal
- Hypertension Clinic
- Diabetic Clinic
- Immunisation
- Cervical Smears
- Wound Dressings
- Heart Disease
Health Care Assistants
We currently have two Health Care Assistants - Sandy
Smith and Julie Brash.
Community clinical staff
District Nurses
These nurses are Registered General Nurses with additional
training who will assess and provide individual nursing care
and support for patients and their families in their own
homes. If you need to contact a District Nurse please
telephone 01280 826901. Health Visitor
Our Health Visitor is a Registered General Nurse with
additional training and can offer help and advice for small
children and other family issues. If you need to contact the
health visitor please telephone 01280 826917. Midwife
The community midwife holds
antenatal clinics at the surgery
and appointments for her can be made by the Receptionist.
If you need to contact the Midwife telephone the surgery,
give your name, address and telephone number and the
Receptionist will ask her to get in touch with you. Psychiatric Nurses
These are specialist nurses attached to our Practice who can
offer help and advice with many problems. These include
depression, phobic or anxiety states, eating disorders,
bereavement, psychosexual and many others. Initial referrals
are made by your doctor. |
